The best way to write a blog post Quickly
For non-writers, and sometimes even for seasoned writers, crafting a blog post can take a long time. Like, a really long time.
After four hours of sitting in front of a computer, it’s time to call it quits.
That’s why I’ve created a step-by-step guide for you to use when writing a blog post so you can get the blog article done quickly and then move on to the next thing on your list.
Step 1: Pick A Topic That Makes Sense
Are you familiar with this topic?
Do you want to be known as an expert about this topic?
Does this topic have something to do with the services you provide or the products you sell?
If you answered no to any of these questions, you should rethink the topic you’re about to write about.
Blogging is not writing for the sake of writing. That’s just a complete waste of time.
Blog writing fast is about adding valuable content to your site so more people can find it and potentially hire you or buy your products.
Step 2: Check The Blog Topic Is Something People are Searching For
Here are three websites to check out:
These sites help you determine what your potential customers and clients want to know.
Where is the best ice cream in Santa Monica?
How do you change a flat tire?
Why do I need to blog?
Step 3: Create A Layout
When working to write a blog post fast, having a layout will make things so much easier for you.
Determine the points you want to make and use those as your headings, or H2s. Then fill in the rest! Before you know it, you’ll be hitting that 500-word mark.
Step 4: Use Short, Punchy Sentences
PLEASE do not try writing an in-depth dissertation about your topic. That will take years and no one will have the time or the interest in reading it.
Each paragraph should be no more than two sentences long. Use simple to digest words. People will appreciate that and keep reading.
Step 5: Address The Topic First
Think of a newspaper. It answers the 5 W’s in the first paragraph.
While your blog doesn’t have to follow that process, it should answer the major question people are searching for right away.
If you bury the lead, you’ll lose your audience. And they aren’t coming back.

Step 6: Don’t Forget The SEO
Just because you’re writing a blog post fast, doesn’t mean you can forget the keywords.
Keywords are the phrases that people are searching for and you are offering a solution to.
Try to place keywords throughout your blog post to ensure you’re giving Google enough info to help your site begin to rank organically.
Step 7: Plan Your Time Wisely
It’s a good idea to block off time when you want to write a blog post fast. I recommend setting aside at least 30 minutes to plan your post and another hour to write it.
At the beginning, you may need more time until you get into a groove of writing blog posts quickly.
That said, instead of sitting down once a week to write one post, consider batching. The pros do this and there’s a good reason for it.
When you write a bunch of blog posts in one day, you’re not going from one task to another. You’re basically having your brain do the same thing all day long. That can definitely help with productivity.
Step 8: Work in The Best Environment for You
I love to write at coffee shops. The noise around me, the fact that I have to stay in my chair, I’m drinking coffee… all those things help me get super productive.
But if you’re the kind of person who needs complete silence, plan a day you can sit at a desk with no interruption.
To your success,
